Just a short drive to northern paradise

The Land O’ Lakes region is within 3 hours from Toronto, 2 hours from Ottawa and about an hour from Kingston. Visitors coming from the United States can expect an easy commute to the region via I-81, and we are within a 50 minute drive from the Thousand Islands Bridge border crossing. The two main east-west arteries are Highways 401 and 7 (the Trans Canada Highway), and the two primary north-south routes are Highways 38 and 41. The 407 toll road now extends to Peterborough and this provides quick access to our region. Our highways are less congested than those which serve traditional cottage destinations, so while they may appear closer on some maps you will spend less time traveling in the car.
